RIVERLIGHTS AQ PH 4 & 5 [TRC Plan Review #2] TECHNICAL STANDARDS – NEW ROADS: 1. Site plan shows a mid-block crosswalk on Laughing Gull Terrace west of Walkfinders Court. Please label pedestrian (W11-2 of MUTCD) signage shown for this crosswalk. Additionally, a post-mounted pedestrian (W11-2) sign is required at the location of the crossing point with a diagonal downward pointing arrow (W16-7P of MUTCD) plaque (see Figure 2C-12 of MUTCD) mounted below the sign. [MUTCD] 2. Below crosswalk pavement markings and their relevant warning pedestrian signs are not required and shall not be installed; a. On Laughing Gull Terrace intersecting with Craddock Dr, Penzance ROW. b. On CraddockDr intersecting with existing Barnards Landing Rd stub. c. On Fox Sedge Place intersecting with Penzance ROW. d. All crosswalks at the intersection of Penzance ROW and CraddockDr. 3. Turnarounds at the end of ROWs shall be designed with the minimum requirements per SD 3-05 of CofWTSSM. Sufficiency of turnaround must be confirmed with Fire department. ROUNDABOUT DESIGN: Design shows roundabout at the intersection of Laughing Gull Terrace and Tackabury Run. Please provide the roundabout details. As the City does not currently address roundabout designs in the technical standards, the design should be prepared by an engineer experienced with such and should consider geometric controls such as: • Entry angle and offset to center as appropriate • Entry, Circulating and exit speed-radius relationships • Inscribed diameter consistent with design vehicle • Truck apron consistent with design vehicle. • Consideration for Splitter Island that accommodate pedestrian refuge as room allows. • Approach and departure sight distances. • Appropriate signing and markings This list is not inclusive and submittals should provide reasoning used for each parameter. STREET LIGHTING [City of Wilmington Street Lighting Policy]: 4. We have notices a change in the ROW layout with this version. A standard Street light plan has been provide with the initial TRC comments. The number of Standard Street lights required as per initial review is still applicable. Minimum of 28 street lights are required for this sub-division. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance as this development moves through the review process.

RIVERLIGHTS AGE QUALIFIED PHASE 4 AND 5 [TRC Plan Review #2] TECHNICAL STANDARDS – NEW ROADS: 1. As previously stated, the Craddock Drive ROW is not consistent with the actual ROW width. The label for the 44’ ROW should be located east of the intersection of Craddock Drive and Tackabury Run. West of this intersection the street has sidewalk on both sides of the street and maintains a 57’ ROW. Please revise the sheets. 2. Please verify ROW widths on plans sheets, such as Craddock Drive on CU-701, etc.). 3. Please revise the typical Cross Sections to show the 44’ Row cross section on sheet Ct-301. The 41’ ROW is shown, however the Alternative Should Type 4, (44’ ROW type) is not shown. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance as this development moves through the review process.
