Find a Project

  • A list of all projects that are currently under review can be found on the Projects page.
  • You can query this list for a specific project or location by utilizing the search functions located at the top of the page.
  • You can search by project Title, Type, Street Name and/or Status. Click here for help with searching.

View Project Information

  • You can view the details of each project by clicking the Details link located on the far left of each project listing.
  • You can view the project Submittals, Contacts and related Documents by clicking a link under the Links column heading located on the far right of each project listing.
  • The Submittals link will take you to a listing of all site plans and revisions associated with the project.
  • When viewing the submittals for a project, you can open digital plans for each submittal by clicking the link under the Attachment column heading.
  • In addition, you can review staff comments associated with each submittal by clicking the link under the Comments column heading.


  • Only registered and approved users can submit project applications and upload initial plan submittals.
  • In order to register, you must create a site profile including a User Name, Password and Email address.
  • After creating your profile you will received email notification of approval by the site administrator.
  • Once approved, you can login and begin the project submittal process.

Submit a Project

  • Applicants may submit projects online or in person at 305 Chestnut Street (3rd Floor).
  • To submit a project online using the Project Tracking system, registered users can click the Applications tab that will appear in the menu bar at the top of the page.
  • On this page, select the type of application being submitted (i.e. Site Plans, Subdivision Plans, etc).
  • On the following page click Submit new … and complete the online application.
  • Applications submitted through Project Tracking will be reviewed within two business days for completeness prior to being accepted for official review.
  • Applicants will be notified via their profile email when the application has been accepted or denied.
  • Details will be provided in cases of denial.
  • Once approved, you will be prompted to pay the application fee via online credit card or in person by cash or check made payable to the City of Wilmington.
  • When payment is received, the Project becomes official and will then be reviewed by all TRC departments.
