COLLECTION AT INDEPENDENCE PHASE 1 [TRC Plan Review #5] TECHNICAL STANDARDS – ACCESS (driveway, crosswalk, and sight distance): • A proposed crosswalk off Fordham Rd is shown at the location where it is considered as a mid-block crossing. This crosswalk/stop bar shall be relocated as close as possible to the intersection of internal driveways to the north, to eliminate the possibility of any part of vehicle storage in front of the crosswalk. This will create a stop condition at the intersection and not away from the intersection. This will provide a better pedestrian view for the oncoming vehicular traffic. [MUTCD] • Relocate/show the stop bar and sign at the eastern side of the internal intersection off Fordham Rd, closer to the intersection. SIGNAGE AND PAVEMENT MARKINGS: • Since the traffic signs are not visible on the aerial view please show/label these details on the existing conditions plan/site inventory plan.
