TECHNICAL STANDARDS – ACCESS (driveway, sidewalk, and sight distance):
1. Please reposition the trees away from the blocking sight distance at the cross walks, or at the ‘ingress side’ of the Roundabout. The Willow Oak located beside the southern crosswalk and northern crosswalk locations may block clear visual sight lines for vehicles approaching the crosswalks. [Sec.18-566 CofW LDC]
2. Please ensure proposed landscaping located in Sight Distance Triangles are positioned or trimmed to provide clear visual sight lines from 30” to 10’. [Sec.18-566 CofW LDC] The proposed landscape plan show Willow Oaks (Street Trees) around the proposed Roundabout on Fresco Drive and adjacent to marked crosswalks.
3. Show and apply the City’s 46’x46’ sight distance triangle at each street corner intersection (with the Roundabout), at Fresco Drive and Ashes Drive on the site plan and landscaping plan. [Sec.18-529(c)(3)CofW LDC] Add a note indicating that all proposed vegetation within sight triangles shall not interfere with clear visual sight lines from 30"-10'.

1. The Hornbeam Tress located at the Southern end of the Roundabout appears to be too close to the crosswalk. Please reposition the trees away from the cross walk, in order to prevent it from blocking sight distance at the cross walk.
