DRAM TREE TAVERN [TRC Plan Review #2] BASE INFORMATION: Show the location of all the existing traffic signage for the intersection of Burnett Blv/Kentucky Ave and Washington St/Kentucky Ave. (signs like stop, street name, speed limit and any other existing) TECHNICAL STANDARDS: 1. Dimension the on-street parking spaces. The minimum standard parallel vehicle parking space size is 8’ width by 23’ in length. [CofWTSSM page 7-16]. 2. Show and apply the City’s 46’x46’ sight distance triangle at each street corner intersection of Washington St and Kentucky Ave abutting this development on the site plan and landscaping plan. [Sec.18-529(c) (3) CofW LDC] [Sec. 18-812 CofW LDC]. 3. Driveway off Washington St is proposed to be a standard commercial type so the detectable warning domes are not required and shall not be installed at the corners. The pedestrian right-of-way continues across the apron style driveway. Please revise. 4. SIGHT DISTANCE TRIANGLE FOR ANY STREET INTERSECTIONS WITH SAID THOROUGHFARES This section of Burnett Blv is a major thoroughfare [Chap VII (C) (2) (a) of CofW Tech Stds]. The required triangular sight distance for any street intersections with said thoroughfares shall be provided in compliance with the AASHTO sight distance standards. [Sec.18-556 CofW LDC]. Show this sight triangle for the street corner of Burnett Blv and Kentucky Ave abutting this development. Please let me know if you have any questions.
